You have to love God with all your heart; your soul and pleasing Him must be your heart’s desire. When you love God you will reverence Him, and obey Him. The proof of your love for Him is your obedience to all He instructs you to do.
Seyi Fasanya said, “It takes loving God for a man not to be involved in extra marital affairs after marriage. The love for one’s spouse is not strong enough to make you stay faithful to your marriage vows.” This statement is quite true. Do not deceive yourself. When you are married, you will find some one of the opposite sexes whom you will be attracted to sexually. It takes loving God to flee from sin.
Life’s greatest tragedy is to lose God and not miss Him.
